SOUTH GOA (palolem, Agonda, etc)

Hello
My previous writing was about north and old GOA with college mate. And now here I came with adventure in south GOA.  Well I went to goa before few times but this time it’s special and memorable; Because  my journey from Mumbai to pune was like a bollywood movie stories and there is something  different which I discovered in South Goa.
I had train to GoA from Pune. I went to Mumbai and from there I was thinking to catch bus to Pune. After finished my work in college I moved to Dadar to catch bus to pune but I got late I reached Dadar at 12noon and I had train from pune at 4.30pm. So I preferred to go to pune by cool cab, but it was wrong choice. Before 60km from pune, car got breakdown on highway and it was horrible to ask help when it again got breakdown in tunnel, because all vehicles speed were above 80km/hr and nobody stopped. Somehow after 20min car starts, but i already got late it was 4.pm. we moved further and halt at food counter where driver tried to cool down the engine by adding water.  But after that engine doesn't start and I had to catch bus which dropped me at bypass road of pune. I called many of my friends so that somebody will pickup me and drop me at station to reach before 4.30pm but nobody was available that time, I was so helpless.  When I reached bypass road it was already 4.30pm and I thought I had to cancel this tour. Then I called my friend who was already waiting for me at station, he said train is also late by 1hr so come before 5.30pm. Then I feel AHHAA. God help me .
I prefer private car to reach pune up-to 3pm so that I can meet some friends, and like Bollywood movie. I managed to catch train exactly before 5min.

VALENTINE DAY NIGHT AT PALOLEM :)
After reaching GOA; one of my  friend from Palolem(south goa) came to receive me on Canacona bus stop and booked room for me. As room is on beach I thought rent would be 700-800rs but I was wrong.
That day was Valentine day 14th Feb. It was nothing special for me as I don’t have GF. But yes it was valentine day; so little excitement was thereJ.  My day starts from Dolphin Safari I went to see dolphin with my friend Nikhil

Dinner. i need to learn European way to eat with knife n spoon

On Beach Restaurent

On the ferry there was one girl from Paris named Maria. It was nice chitchat with her. She said when she was in Mumbai for some time; she wanted to act in Bollywood movies perhaps as background dancer but sad nobody hired her ;).

                                                        Maria And Me

On that day we just did swimming whole day and we had dinner on the beach restaurant. Waiter already informed us that service charge is 10%. Don’t know whether it’s only for Indian or also for foreigners because Indian get everything expensive than foreigners. After dinner we were walking on beach and I met one Spanish girl and while talking with her doesn’t know when time passed from 9pm to 2am. While I was talking with her one Russian girl approached Nikhil and ask him if he want Charas(drug)he simply said he is happy with cigarette after sometime she gone but Nikhil was so much angered on that Russian girl; because he is not charssi(later on he said to me charas is very bad drug) .  While chatting with Angel (Spanish)  I came to know that  she rented room 200-300/day for single room and  same thing with Maria. She has room on beach with sea view; is only for 300rs/day. So I thought I m only fool who paid more, every time I go there. Well I don’t bother much about price but it shows we have to have skills to negotiate.

                                                  Angeles n me

On Saturday we rented a bike and went to see other beaches such as Agonda, Patnam, Rajbaugh, and the beautiful Lalit Hotel/golf ground where many bollywood film shooted. Patnam and Agonda are not so much crowded and its nice that these are peaceful. Every Saturday there is silent noise party organized on palolem beach @Neptune point. And I was waiting for that since I got on palolem.

Lalit Golf International. famous place for Bollywod movies to shoot

I went alone that party because Nikhil refuse to join me. Party begins at 11pm you can say this was my first Disco party in outside (except college DJ nights). First time I got stamp of party on handJ. I think that party was Big party. I didn’t get joy from inside becoz I used to yell while dancing but here everybody wearing headphone and dancing alone in their theme but I enjoyed as some people joined me later.

AND PARTY BEGINS

                                                          Nobody danced like her.

Some peoples I mean blonde dance really good not just shaking heads, As I don’t know how to dance on English music so I just shake my headsJ. Some girls whistling it was just sexy n awesome., I don’t know whistle L.  Everything was crazy there ;), I can’t explain here, u should go and then u’ll know.  When I remove headphone I felt everybody is dancing like stupid no music outside after wearing headphone oh everything is okJ. One performer perform very nicely on various themes, her performance was awesome.

                                                            WOW!!!

                                                      SIMPLY GREAT

Party ends at 4am then I was sitting alone and one guy from Holand joined me and after some time his friend joined me she was nice and it was nice to know about Holand culture. I never met people from Holand. Funnily they said Gemany and Holand are like India and Pakistan J, We have our bicycles in germany which was taken away by Hitler J and one day w’ll take those back.

                                                                 party stamp

On Sunday we (Nikhil &me) went to Mallikarjuna Temple which is very famous in south goa. From there to turtle beach hoping to see big turtle on beach but we found none. one person said turtle came in night near about 10pm/in early morning. So if anybody goes there they advised to stay one night to see turtle. We ride Kayak @palolem. It was nice experience.

Tamil Nadu Part = 2

Hello Friends

Now almost a year passed to work here in Tamilnadu and in this company. So here I come to evoke some pages of my life in TamilNadu. It is wrong to say that my 1year in this company was very good and happy, everything is good and bla bla… there were some problems with some but one who learn how to adjust and defend oneself can move further and this is exactly what I have done I made myself secure in every situation, done my work honestly and be what am I. I didn't change myself for others. And now I am enjoying benefits of it. Well that’s enough now ;)

After came here from the start I was trying to find some Vipassana meditator who organize the 1day course on every Sunday. But my bad luck I found none, there are some meditators in Pondicherry but they don’t organize one day course and it Its shame that here in Pondicherry n Tamilnadu not much center except one in Chennai and in now in Madurai. But one can get a lot of temples of every GOD in each n every city :). Talking about Climate, no winter, no monsoon, that time i crave for monsoon like DhammaGiri... DhammaGiri is best place to enjoy monsoon :). 24hrs raining for full 4month...

In the mid of July I visited Kanykumari and Rameswaram. as you may be know kanyakumari is end of South in India's map. There I visited a temple of kanyakumari goddesses and shocked when Priest/pujari told me that men can only  enter after removing there upper cloth :), its ritual in some/may be most temples in tamilnadu..Later on we visited other site seeing places such as Thiruvanamalai statue in Sea. One thing is for sure there is no comparison to nature’s beauty when I saw the point where 3sea’s meet, viz.. Indian sea, Bengal sea and Arabian sea. Those tides with full energy make a milky appearance in sea was just awesome.

Rameswaram is place related to epic Ramayana. First time I went inside any temple and follow the one ritual’s which is bathing with water from different wells (kumbh/kua). Don’t think that how come this atheist did that I dident do for ritual or I do not believe in something. but I did for fun to take bath from almost 30-40 different wells, it was really fun. During site seeing, In one temple of Hanuman I saw that stone which mentioned in Ramayana, the bridge of stone floating on sea from India to Srilanka. That heavy stone really floats. I don’t know science behind that stone, but it really floats ;).

Also in Dec. I went to Kodaikanal hill station its indeed The Prince of Hill Station. It feel that I am god who is seeing this earth from above the cloud. Once again I can say that there is no comparison for natures beauty. After kodaikanl we went to Madurai. In there we went to Minakshi Temple. It was good temple to see but I was shock by reading inside the temple that “NON HINDUS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THIS BOUNDARY  I dident get the meaning of this sentence. Whether it is mean for Dalits in India/ those foreigners who visited that temple/for any Muslim. This was shock for me that caste-ism is still in India so publicly.
Well talking about city, It nice city; we walk almost whole city.

About my Vipassana practice. It’s hard to maintain practice daily while work but i m doing it in my different way :). Like meditating in car while daily short journey etc :). and visiting to catholic ashram as they are meditators. They allow me to meditate in their DhammaHall whenever I went there for short time. And fill the gap by doing self course in my room.

I’ll come with next page of my life till then cheers

BirthDay Plan A & Plan B

BirthDay Plan A & Plan B

Hello buds. This birthday is quite interesting for me becoz I celebrate with strangers. I knew that on 6th June nothing gonna happened rather than go to work so I wanted this birthday would be little interesting. So I was thinking to go to chennai for little shopping and to watch movie etc, (yes becoz in Tamilnadu no hindi or english movie shown on theater all are tamil or either dub in tamil) so I told my old friend Francoise about plan ( one Belgian friend who lives in chennai) but she told me to come at tourist spot Mahamallipuram which is 40km from chennai which is really good one. I cached the bus and on Pondecherry Bus Stop I met Nichole from Germany. We travel together up to Mahammalipuram we had nice chitchat, and during chitchat she was convinced by me to take Vipassana course, I told her might be I will come to chennai in the evening so we could meet somewhere in mall, and she was happy too.

Finally I reached Mahamallipuram and I figured it out its good place though I got fool by hiring rickshaw for Rs.300 to watch 2km area only because I had to wait for Francoise. Finally I met her in restaurant which is on beach. we had lunch there, then we went to Ideal beach which is very nice place its Resort where u can enjoy facilities like, access private beach, swimming pool etc. for only Rs.400. I enjoyed there very much. Francoise teach me or gave me some tips of swimming. Its wonderful day with her. She gave me a beautiful Gift a T-Shirt with words “Undiscovered Genius”, which I like most As Francoise had different planed in the evening. She went to home

So for further plan I call Nicki to ask about the room in hotel where she stayed, its surprising that in that hotel Indians are not allowed may be for security of foreigner and also rooms are cheap from Rs.175-400 only. Nicki manage to convinced the manager for me. I reached hotel near abt 8pm then we went to Marina beach. Again nice chitchat on beach and then dinner. In the morning during breakfast she told me abt her bad experience in India. Mostly happened in south India. Like touching n grabbing her here and there in crowd and in bus, a stranger on road ask her about f***. As Indian I feel very shamed that this things now also happens. She ask me why westerners considered as prostitute here? and I didn't had answer!. Hopefully she feel positive after meet me.

After breakfast we went for shopping when we walked on the road some local guys who looks educated, pass some vulgar comment on her, it was really bullshit we just neglect them and went away. We went to some malls and did shopping. As my choice is not so good, so she selected cloths for me and I just bought those. Although we both feel very tired we just move on to do the things. In the afternoon I catches the bus from chennai and came home with smiley face,

Thanks to god who planned for me. When I looked about whole things, accidentally I met Nicki and she gave me her mobile no. I was thinking to go chennai with Francoise and do some shopping n stay at her place but as it canceled. Plan B works which made by GOD. And my Sunday and Monday went well :). after writing this I feel like it was dream :) thanks god.............

LIFE IN TAMILNADU PART -1
After spent 2days in home I came to Tamil Nadu to start my work. When I was in train from Nagpur to Chennai, one guy named Sridhar from Tamil Nadu knows Hindi, he help to get the bus stop Koyembedu which is central bus stop in Chennai from where you can get bus to anywhere long distance and short distance.  That bus stop is quite big I never saw bus stop like this.  After Sridhar left it was difficult to communicate with people. In the bus I was quite mum whole 7hours and listened music. I tried to speak with guy seated next to me but he did not understand English and Hindi. When I reached Chidambaram bus stop my company people came to receive me. I thought might be they are mechanic or some other staff but they were sr. manager, sr. engineer. And some other head.  In the end I reached my accommodation which is nice. Next day I went to market to buy some stuff but it was difficult to communicate with them. For example I asked for chana (chickpeas ) in shop, he came with chalk box then I explain them about 15 min the shape, color somehow in the end he understood J. Another eg. We(my roommate) ask to buy 2 hangers for cloth to our maid she bought and told the price in tamil and when we did not understand she said its 400rs each instead 40 we both got shock  J
In 1st dec I went to my working site. I felt very bored, no work just observe the things which were going on.  After couple of days I got work to observe the things and instruct the worker. When I tried to instruct the local worker they did not understand anything. So most of the time I used sign languageJ. Sometimes I said something and workers did something different. I felt I am on different planet or another country nobody understand Hindi which is national language of India. I feel Maharashtra is really very good state where all peoples from different state and country can live. At least all Marathi people understand and speak Hindi. Sometimes it irritates me when I heard Tamil everywhere and I did not understand anything. But I have no option. I want to learn tamil but as I am here only for 3months I don’t feel it’s necessary to learn.
Now I start to take interest in my job. And result of that I have to do night duty alone to handle all operations on site which were going on. My seniors are good and friendly.  Not much work load just learning things J will come with 2nd part soon
here are the some pics

Help Others God Will Help you

Hello friends the November month is quite interesting for me. on the 13th nov. i was little bit restless and in mood to make the dinner in home and simultaneously chatting by texting with my friend Nobuko who arrived India in morning and was in train to Gujarat in evening. Near about 9pm jokingly i text her come for dinner food is ready and in 10min i got call form her. and she said, “Sudarshan I jumped off from train and i m bleeding lot i need help please do something”. and after that her mobile battery gone. In that situation I was also helpless. I called railway police in Mumbai and explain situation and ask them to collect her belongings from train to next station, i was so scared but luckily after an half hour i got call from guy named Mayank who took Nobuko to hospital, I felt little relaxed but again got tensed when Nobuko refused to take any treatment no painkillers, no antibiotics, no stitches. She did not want to trust any stranger not even doctors.

I tried to convinced her that please trust and respond to treatment. but she wanted someone known person with her whom she can trust. as I was far away (she jumped off d train in Valsad District in Gujarat 4hours from mumbai) i was unable to go there so she said contact Sameer (whom she met in morning and stayed his flat till evening ) and sameer is mutual friend of Alex Popa. I contacted alex through him Sameer, Sameer went to hospital from mumbai. The whole night i was tensed and contacted many peoples like her family, friends. After Sameer reached to hospital, at 4am Mayank called me n said Sameer is also quite about her treatment. In the morning 8am Sameer called me and said nobuko taking treatment and in 2days we are moving to Mumbai for further treatment and then i’ll call other meditator to help her. i thought might be Sameer thinking shift Nobuko from one meditator’s place to others. I felt bad and thought if Nobuko’s treatment is completed and only she need rest then i will take her to my home or if she need some treatment then instead of shifting from here and there i will take her to my friends flat and i’ll take care of her. so i decided to see her and take care of her and so i went to Mumbai on 16th. she also reached Mumbai on 16th.

In the evening i went to sameer’s flat. when i saw Nobuko i got shocked her body was totally damaged. Stitches below the right eye. injuries on hand feet…….and right arm got fractured so she has to wear sling for 6 weeks. She said Sameer allow her to stay in his flat until she go to DhSindhu. so i thought might be he is working somewhere so i ask her when he want to go out n want to do some work then i can came here and look after you. so its better to stay with you. Then nobuko got permission for me to stay from Sameer. After met her i was on the way to my friends room n next day i gonna shift to Sameer flat. when i was on the way i got call from my friend about job Intrv. in MNC company, which was on next day. as i was not prepared i postponed it to monday(21st). on 17th i went to Sameers flat to look after Nobuko. i cooked for her. did dressing arranging laptop and internet from friend and whatever she needed.

Sometimes i tried to convinced her to go back to Australia but she wanted to sit 30days course. and also her family keep on saying her to come back. that time i did not understand health is Important or 30days. might be her ego or competition of doing courses forcing her to do the course. on sunday night she got sick and vomited whole night. as sameer slept early whole night i seated next to her sent her metta. i told her to chew some cardamom which helps to minimize sickness but she did not listen. that time i felt very bad. but what to do i had to serve her so i just listen her n provide her what she wanted. i was tensed that night because i had interview next day n did not slept whole night.

In the morning i went to interview i felt like i am drunken person so had tea outside the office and went to interview. after an hour i had interview and of 30 min and i got selected. that time i felt Dhamma really works if you help others dhamma/god will help you. After that night nobuko also realised she must go back to Australia. so she booked ticket. she left to aust on 25th and after spending 2days. i am at my work place i Tamilnadu from tomm 1st dec i am going to start my work. i got scared here becoz nobody understand english and hindi I feel like I am in Different country and also my working hours are 12. only sunday is off.(sometimes not)

Only I Got Courage with this word “Dont Worry DHAMMA Will Help You”

Pali 2011

After painful leave from Mumbai and hostel I m here In DhammaGiri to learn Pali Language; to understand the language; the words of the Buddha; and to understand PatiPatti (practice) wIth Pariyatti(theory) and  abt DhammaGiri. It Is 1st Vipassana meditation centre in India in the tradition of Sayagi U BA Khin and after him, Mr. S.N Goenka. And abt Vipassana I Can say try it and get benefits from it. It doesn’t belong to any caste or religion. I met some catholic priest n nun, sadhu n sanyasi, jain muni etc :) . I came here on 1st June and on 5th June I got valuable B’day gIft. GoenkajI came for public talk In Dhammagiri after many years, only for 3 days. When he was here I walked with him, I could see him every day and in his presence I felt happier. They were wonderful days. Now I am 90% sure that Marathi comes from pali well I don’t research on that but many words are similar which spoke in different part of Maharashtra.

5th June Public Talk by Goenkaji

Learning Pali along with Vipassana is a great experience. Most of the words of the suttas can be understood by practice only. Like our teacher Mr. A. Chaudariji said “Satima (awareness) and Sampajano (thorough understanding)” can be understood perfectly by practicing vipassana and its 100% true. The schedule of Pali class is very intensive. In my engg life I never experienced such an Intensive schedule b’coz I could bunk the lectures and go to sleep. But here I could not. It was my wish to learn these things. But now I have to do that. And abt the schedule, it’s very intensive with only one day off. And the timings are 8-9am 1Hr Group sit, 9:30-11:30am lecture, and from 2:15-4:15pm another lecture and evening Group Sitting from 6-7pm. After every 1hour, we had 10minute break. U could say a chocolate break. And our Chocó jar never went empty. Everyday 1 Santa arose and filled it.

I want to mention one funny experience how this Intensive course affected me. Once when I had nap and nearly abt 1:30pm I got call and It was unknown no. I woke up immediately I thought that Its Sean no (teacher from U.S.) because I missed morning lecture due to sickness. So without attending the call I ran towards the classroom. When I reached the class nobody was there. When I again looked at the watch it was only 1:30pm not 2:30pm. I laughed at myself, and when It happened again after a few days, I felt that how different was my hostel life (:-:)

Oh I forgot to mention abt my class and classmates Justine, William, Mark, Mike, Me, Sanjay, Adrien, Samual, Bettina, Andria, Olga, Chitra, n Jhansi and Teacher Dr. Sanghavi madam, Sean Kerr and A. Chaudhari. When I came here it was not new for me but yes my classmates were new. But I felt safe b’coz I already knew Robson and Sean and Dr. Sanghavi. My new Classmates were very good. William (U.S) he is my current health doctor :), he offers me Ghee everyday to put on weight. All are very good; they called me Small Gentlemen (bcoz once I had worn a formal dress), Naughty Boy, and MahaSudassana. I am very much enjoying here.

Sometimes discussion come about the Tipitakas and the stories in that, and everybody talked about this loka (world like heaven, hell etc) and that loka, and Nibbana, psychic powers, dhyan, etc. That time I felt “Oh My GOD” actually we are discussing about the things which are above science, Nibbana, and, this and that stage which can only be experienced by one’s own effort and cannot be proved by anyone else. Now I know many thing from this discussion. When it came to reading Pali words, a few classmates pronounced very differently. It made me laugh especially, when Bettina (German) pronounced the pali words. That time I couldn’t stop myself from laughing. Once our mam told us the story about the Uposath {fasting days (ashtami (8th day), amvassya (new moon) and pournima (full moon)}. From that time, everybody is serious to observe uposath and didn’t take dinner. But before the uposath day and on the uposath day William would make tea for all of us. I can’t say Its tea because It is prepared from masala (without tea powder n sugar) which we all Indians use in preparing nonveg food. I am great full to these guyes b’coz of them i learn to drink tea without sugar :).   These type of experiences which I m sharing with my classmates which I did not have in the past 23 years :), but I m enjoying it. That’s important.

william with tea

Now only few days are left for the completion of the course. But I feel like I just came yesterday. Life is very fast. It’s very strange, the movement we want to hold or want to live in for long time couldn’t stop and passes very quickly and I m learning through vipassana that don’t crave but ultimately I was victim of craving!!!!!!!!.

Ok then, I will come back new exp. but don’t know when

Until then with metta (loving kindness)

Sudarshan

Farewell Part 2

(Before writing anything please consider this my english is not so good ok.)

Hello Friends,
finally the day come to say goodbye to my college n this beautiful campus. the last 3days after exam over was funny, sad and memorable. our (all B.E student) farewell was on 30April and that day also taught us how the engg life is.!!!!! our farewell was on evening at 6pm and we all (B.E mechanical class) were busy in submission work of DMS from morning to evening.

DMS submission work

S.P.C.E farewell as usual not an emotional drama and yet i don’t get it why? (becoz its farewell not celebration) on that evening we friends danced, ate, most important photo shoot :). from that day i got feeling of loosing something but as my exam were from 13may. that feeling hidden somewhere in my heart. on 23may which was last day of our exam we gathered near lake for sweat shirt photo shoot and that was last day we all were there. from that day i felt very sad but i did not express. one by one all friends were left hostel and due to that clouds of sadness, got dark in my heart. on 24th we were only 4-5 friends in hostel from mechanical, we spent each n every moment together, by saying each other “Ye Din Kabhi Nahi Ayenge”. “Tu Jee Be” etc.

25th is very funny n emotional day for me becoz for Satya’s ticket reservation me n him woke up at 4am(i dont woke up at 4am even for my ticket reservation) went to station thought we will be first to stand in front of counter but the situation was different before us there were 60people on Q. and that was funny. that 4 hours was very funny, finally satya got reservation n i revealed. In the evening i went to see off Krissi on Airport, during travel from andheri to airport by Auto i was sad n tears were in my eyes, something/thoughts/moments came in my mind i dont remember but sure that made me cry but i controlled myself to see off her with smiley face.

on 26 Suraj left in morning, the same feeling with me. In afternoon when i went to Mech Department to gave Card to Eassow Mam, mam was not there but while writing masg on card i was so emotional that i could not stop my tears to came out. the sadness of dark cloud start raining heavily. i came to room locked myself to hide my tears. when i looked at mirror i found five years back sudarshan who came to mumbai with tears n dream in eyes n going with same. even that rain did not stop during lunch. Thank god this rain stop after lunch. After saying Good Bye to all in hostel i left hostel. Thanks to Amey, Satya, Omkar who was with me upto Dadar to see off n to made me feel better.

What i get in my engg life 140friends from college, all hostel friends, Spiritual touch and Dhamma friend from Igatpuri, somehow Bollywood touch.
What i will miss most, more fun. happy moment, hostel life, Bhavans college beautiful girls which make feel good when i sad :). Kadambari Samosa, dhokla, Awesome Coffee from tea stall. And most important Bhavans Campus n hostel life n friends. I cant write more there r endless things!

Guys wish u have wonderful life ahead :)
